Newcastle University was the 2022 host for the Frank Morton Sports Day in February. This annual event is based at a different university each year, involving over 2,000 Chemical Engineering students from a number of different universities around the UK who come together for a sports day and careers fair.
The hosts at Newcastle University got in touch with Banner to source face masks and hand sanitisers, which would be supplied to all students on arrival for use on the day.
Along with the supply of face masks, Banner donated 1,000 bottles of Mrs. Gleams 100ml hand sanitiser free of charge to the students’ union to support this event, reduce the spread of Covid-19 and promote best hygiene practices among the attendees.
The Result:
Banner worked quickly to meet NU’s deadline, ensuring all supplies were delivered on time; and were gratefully received by the organisers.

“Frank Morton gives chemical engineers across the UK [an opportunity] to have their own “olympics for a day”. This was the first in person Frank Morton after 2 years. Over 17 universities across Scotland, England and Ireland joined us on the 21st of February.
