With Banner Northern Gas Network save time and money through our open book online ordering system. Banner has partnered with Northern Gas for several years, providing a wide range of hardware and technology products.
Solution
We helped the customer to streamline their ordering and quoting processes by setting up an online catalogue for small orders, charged at an agreed margin, within an open book policy to ensure transparency at all times.
We were receiving 9-10 quotation requests from Northern Gas Networks’ service users, usually with relatively small values, so we arranged for one of our hardware key account managers to showcase our online catalogue. We demonstrated the product search function, which shows price, stock and lead time of delivery. The customer was impressed at its’ ease of use and the potential resource savings to be made.
The introduction of the online catalogue has helped Northern Gas Network to order more products, save its service users significant amount of time and helped the organisation to save considerable sums.
